When it rains, it pours
– but that didn’t stop this happy couple from enjoying their incredible day at West Milford Farm back in July.
This wedding day was truly like a movie. I laughed, I cried, and even I had a downright great time watching everyone enjoy themselves throughout the night.
One of my favorite moments during the evening were the Best Man and Maid of Honor speeches. Typically, I callow in fear during toasts because most people show up completely unprepared and fumble all over themselves. Magil and Harrison did a wonderful job by keeping the message solely focused on the couple and their love for each other and God. Their speeches echoed as a line of chorus putting their servant hearts on display for all to see. It was a joy, and some of the most eloquent speeches that I’ve ever heard at a wedding– the bar was low and they exceeded all expectations.
Let this be a lesson to all-- please prepare your speech ahead of time. Practice it in front of the mirror, practice it in front of an audience. If not to feel confident and honor the people you're speaking about, then at least to save me from a severe case of second-hand embarrassment.
Ella and Mason were a joy to photograph. All of the photos from their wedding are a testimony to them and their celebration with friends and family. I'll forever be grateful to have the opportunity to capture their beautiful day, to meet their families, and witness His goodness that shines within them.
Watching your walk with Christ, and the Spirit work in and with you has been an honor, and glory to God for the man you are.
